BRIEF HISTORY OF NCC UNIT :
NCC unit of College started in 1982.
This NCC unit is affiliated to 4 MAH BN NCC, NAGPUR.
Lt Deshpande was the first officer of the college unit.
Every year 52 cadet are getting enrolled in unit.
Presently Capt. B.K. Ramteke is commanding this unit.
The normal training of the cadet starts from the month of July.
The cadet are selected on the basis of their past academic record, physical, medical standards and their interest to join the military and paramilitary forces.

NCC is an important World largest organization which leads young boys and girls towards national integration and self-discipline. It is refreshing to see young boys and girls lending a helping hand to people in distress.

TRAINING ACTIVITIES :
Regular parade conducted on every Wednesday and Thursday from July to January.
In common subjects the topics includes NCC organization, NATIONAL INTEGRATION weapon training, disaster management social awareness health and hygiene, environmental awareness, adventure, obstacle training and personal development and leadership teach by ANO.
Specialized subjects includes organization of arm forces, map reading, field craft and battle craft, judging distance field signals teach by PI STAFF.
During camps cadets are trained in firing, drill, weapon training, MR etc.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES :
In addition to training activities cadets actively take participation in different social activities.
Every year in July cadets planted trees in college campus and conducted rallies about plantation, forest and wildlife conservation in collaboration with forest department.
Cadets voluntarily took part in blood donation camps.
Large number of cadets enrolled in SBSI and conducted swachhata abhiyan in different nearby villages.
